You will gaze at the amazing collection of rainforest and tropical plants and relax by hidden waterfalls on this professionally
guided and narrated tour. Start the day at the famous Foster's Botanical Garden where you will learn about Hawaii's endemic, native
species in addition to the many foreign plants that Dr. William Hillebrand introduced in Hawaii in the mid-1800's. Later visit
endangered dry-land plants inside a crater site. Gasp at African plants, cacti and many other palms and succulents suitable to
flourish in this desert-like landscape. An excellent place to take a memorable photo!
A short walk takes us into a misty natural rainforest including a waterfall. At the falls you will view ancient Hawaiian
petroglyphs near the bank of the stream, learn about the rainforest plants in the park, and look for the vibrant yellow
Oahu Amakihi, a rare and endangered Hawaiian honeycreeper bird species.
